The mural was commissioned by the Peabody Essex Museum in 2022 for the Climate Action: Inspiring Change exhibition. The piece takes inspiration from a deconstructed map of Massachusetts coastal cities, water level data, local animal and plant life. The imagery speaks of resilience, disturbances and hope, as it explores the human impact as intersects with nature, to share an evolving story which visions a more inclusive and sustainable future.
